Elaine Noad

 
Appointed to the Board from October 2006. Mrs Noad spent her most of her career in local government, and she was director of Social Work Housing and Health with South Ayrshire council from 1995-2006. This included working within criminal justice social work services, and ultimately managing this service. More recently she was a Commissioner with the Disability Rights Commission from 2000-2007. She is also involved voluntarily with a housing association. She also undertakes the role of an independent assessor for the Commissioner for Public Appointments in Scotland.
